Our primary goal has always been to improve our clients’ profitability by marrying existing investments in technology with advanced systems for use by front-line workers, managers and executives. The company specializes in workflow automation for both the public and private sectors. RDC’s strength is Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and structured messaging. It has used this strength to create a new type of application development and implementation framework that uses structured messaging to generate and then manage systems. Our innovation is the SMX ‘Rapid Application Development’ capability which allows us to produce end-user interfaces, integration engines, and infrastructures ‘on-the-fly’.
We deliver end-user systems that address the unique needs of our clients in government, private sector, health-care supply chain, transportation, and financial services. Instead of custom coding solutions, it uses a unique code generator to mass produce applications with a customized look and feel. Messaging is used to generate code and exchange vital information between system modules.
This allows to the company to undertake enterprise level system implementations with unprecedented depth. One of the company’s key innovations is to use structured messaging to distribute components in a way that simplifies the management of EDI systems on behalf of its clients. This lead to the creation of RDC’s SMX product line of workflow automation services and solutions.
